New Irish?

So there I was minding my own business at the deli / liquor store on my way home from work when I spied a whiskey I had never seen before. Is anyone familiar with "The Irishman"? It claims to be a single malt with a 1,000 barrel limit, aged in bourbon and sherry casks, each bottle is serialized. I am tempted to try it but am interested to see if anyone else has had it. If you have please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

So I bought said bottle, and consumed it around the old campfire with a few friends. It is a well crafted tipple, with a nice balance. Recommend it to those who like Irish. 3.5 / 5 stars.
