AMERICAN BEAUTY

1 oz brandy
½ oz dry vermouth
¼ tsp white creme de menthe
1 oz orange juice
1 tsp grenadine
½ oz tawny port


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the brandy, vermouth, creme de menthe, orange juice, and grenadine. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Pouring slowly and carefully, float the port on top.



BENGAL

1½ oz brandy
½ oz maraschino liqueur
½ oz Cointreau or triple sec
1 oz pineapple juice
2 dashes bitters


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



BETWEEN THE SHEETS

1 oz brandy
1 oz light rum
1 oz Cointreau or triple sec
1 oz lemon juice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



BLACK BALTIMORE

2 oz brandy
1 oz Black Sambuca (Opal Nera)
1 egg white


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



BOSOM CARESSER

Crushed ice
1½ oz brandy
1 oz Madeira
½ oz Cointreau or triple sec


In a mixing glass half-filled with crushed ice, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



BRANDY AND SODA

2 oz brandy
5 oz club soda


Pour the brandy and club soda into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well.



BRANDY BLAZER

1 tsp granulated sugar
2 oz brandy
1 slice orange
1 lemon twist


In an old-fashioned glass, dissolve the sugar in the brandy. Add the orange slice. Tilt the glass and carefully ignite the drink with a match. stir with a long spoon until the flame is extinguished. Strain into a punch cup and garnish with the lemon twist.



BRANDY COBBLER

1 tsp superfine sugar
3 oz club soda
Crushed ice
2 oz brandy
1 maraschino cherry
1 orange slice
1 lemon slice


In an old-fashioned glass, dissolve the sugar in the club soda. Add crushed ice until the glass is almost full. Add the brandy. Stir well. Garnish with the cherry and the orange and lemon slices.



BRANDY COOLER

2 oz brandy
4 oz lemon-lime soda
1 lemon wedge


Pour the brandy and the soda into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with the lemon wedge.



BRANDY DAISY

2 oz brandy
1 oz lemon juice
½ tsp superfine sugar
½ tsp grenadine
1 maraschino cherry
1 orange slice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the brandy, lemon juice, sugar, and grenadine. Shake well. Pour into an old-fashioned glass and garnish with the cherry and the orange slice.



BRANDY FIZZ

2½ oz brandy
1 oz lemon juice
1 tsp superfine sugar
4 oz club soda


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the brandy, lemon juice, and sugar. Shake well. Strain into a collins glass almost filled with the ice cubes. Add the club soda. Stir well.



BRANDY SLING

1 tsp superfine sugar
2 tsp water
1 oz lemon juice
2 oz brandy
1 lemon twist


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the sugar, water, lemon juice, and brandy. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.



BRANDY SOUR

2 oz brandy
1 oz lemon juice
½ tsp superfine sugar
1 slice orange
1 maraschino cherry


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the brandy, lemon juice, and sugar. Shake well. Strain into a whiskey sour glass and garnish with the orange slice and the cherry.



CHARLES COCKTAIL

2 oz brandy
½ oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes bitters


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



COMFORTING TIGER

Crushed ice
2 oz brandy
½ oz Southern Comfort
1 tsp sweet vermouth
1 lemon twist


In a mixing glass, half-filled with crushed ice, combine the brandy, Southern Comfort, and vermouth. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the lemon twist.



DANCE WITH A DREAM COCKTAIL

2 oz brandy
½ tsp Cointreau or triple sec
1 tsp anisette


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



HORSE'S NECK

Peel of 1 lemon, cut into a spiral
2 oz brandy
5 oz ginger ale
2 dashes bitters


Place the lemon peel spiral in a highball glass and drape one end of it over the rim of the glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour the brandy, ginger ale, and bitters into the glass. Stir well.



LA JOLLA

2 oz brandy
½ oz creme de bananes
1 tsp orange juice
½ oz lemon juice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



MIKADO

1½ oz brandy
½ oz Cointreau or triple sec
1 tsp creme de noyaux
1 tsp grenadine
1 dash bitters


In an old-fashioned glass almost filled with the ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well.



SIDECAR

2 oz brandy
½ oz Cointreau or triple sec
1 oz lemon juice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



STINGER

2 oz brandy
½ oz white creme de menthe


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine both ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.
