AVRIL

2 oz Canadian whisky
½ oz cranberry liqueur


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine both of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



BARNSTORMER

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz peppermint schnapps
1 tsp dark creme de cacao
1 tsp white creme de cacao
½ oz lemon juice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes.



BLUE MONDAY

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz blueberry brandy
1 tsp brandy


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



CABLEGRAM

1½ oz blended whiskey
½ oz lemon juice
½ tsp superfine sugar
4 oz ginger ale
1 lemon twist


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whiskey, lemon juice, and sugar. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Top with the ginger ale. Garnish with the lemon twist.



CAT AND FIDDLE

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz Cointreau or triple sec
1 tsp Pernod
1 tsp Dubonnet Blanc


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



DOUBLE STANDARD SOUR

1 oz blended whiskey
1 oz gin
1 oz lemon juice
½ tsp superfine sugar
½ tsp grenadine
1 maraschino cherry
1 orange slice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whiskey, gin, lemon juice, sugar, and grenadine. Shake well. Strain into a sour glass. Garnish with the cherry and the orange slice.



DUSTY BILL

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz applejack
1 tsp brandy
2 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp superfine sugar
1 maraschino cherry


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whisky, applejack, brandy, lemon juice, and sugar. Shake well. Strain into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Garnish with the cherry.



EVERYBODY'S IRISH

2 oz Irish whiskey
1 ox green creme de menthe
1 oz green Chartreuse


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



FAUX SCRUMPY

1½ oz blended whiskey
6 oz apple juice


Pour both of the ingredients into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well.



GERALDINE

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz yellow Chartreuse
½ oz Dubonnet Rouge
1 tsp dry vermouth
1 dash bitters
1 maraschino cherry


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whisky, Chartreuse, Dubonnet, vermouth, and bitters. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry.



HEARTY SUSAN

1½ oz blended whiskey
½ oz cherry brandy
1 maraschino cherry


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whiskey and brandy. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry.



HOT DECK

2 oz blended whiskey
1 oz green ginger wine
½ oz sweet vermouth


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



JERSEY GENTLEMAN

1½ oz blended whiskey
½ oz Pernod
1 oz pineapple juice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



LA BELLE QUEBEC

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz brandy
½ oz cherry brandy
½ oz lemon juice
½ tsp superfine sugar

LADY'S COCKTAIL

2 oz blended whiskey
1 tsp anisette
1 dash bitters


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



MAJOR BRADBURY

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz Grand Marnier
1 tsp dry vermouth
1 tsp sweet vermouth


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



MANHATTAN

2 oz blended whiskey
¾ oz sweet vermouth
3 dashes bitters
1 maraschino cherry


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whiskey, vermouth, and bitters. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry.



MILLIONAIRE

2 oz blended whiskey
½ oz Cointreau or triple sec
½ tsp grenadine
1 egg white


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a sour glass.



MOUNTIE

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz Campari


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine both of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



OLD-FASHIONED

3 dashes bitters
1 tsp water
1 sugar cube
3 oz blended whiskey
1 orange slice
1 maraschino cherry


In an old-fashioned glass, muddle the bitters and water into the sugar cube, using the back of a teaspoon. Almost fill the glass with ice cubes and add the whiskey. Garnish with the orange slice and the cherry. Serve with swizzle stick.



OPENING COCKTAIL

2 oz blended whiskey
½ oz sweet vermouth
2 tsp grenadine


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



POOR TIM

1½ oz blended whiskey
½ oz dry vermouth
2 tsp Chambord


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



PRESBYTERIAN

2 oz blended whiskey
2 oz ginger ale
3 oz club soda
1 lemon twist


Pour the whiskey, ginger ale, and club soda into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with the lemon twist.



RATTLESNAKE

2 oz blended whiskey
1 tsp Pernod
½ oz lemon juice
½ tsp superfine sugar
1 egg white


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



SAN FRANCISCO

1½ oz blended whiskey
½ oz Benedictine
1 oz lemon juice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



SCRUMPY STRONG

1 oz blended whiskey
6 oz hard cider


Pour both of the ingredients into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well.



SHERMAN TANK

2 oz blended whiskey
½ oz B & B
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp lime juice
½ tsp superfine sugar
2 dashes bitters


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz ginger wine
1 tsp cherry brandy
½ oz lemon juice
1 maraschino cherry


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whisky, ginger wine, cherry brandy, and lemon juice. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry.



STILETTO

2 oz blended whiskey
½ oz amaretto
½ oz lemon juice
1 tsp lime juice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes.



TEACHER'S PET

1½ oz blended whiskey
½ oz dry vermouth
1 tsp sweet vermouth
2 dash bitters
1 maraschino cherry
1 orange slice


Pour the whiskey, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, and bitters into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with the cherry and the orange slice.



TIGER JUICE

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz lemon juice
1 oz orange juice</<br />

In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



T.N.T.

1½ oz blended whiskey
1 oz anisette


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine both of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



TURTLE

2 oz Canadian whisky
½ oz Benedictine


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine both of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.



WHISKEY COLLINS

2 oz blended whiskey
1 oz lemon juice
1 tsp superfine sugar
3 oz club soda
1 maraschino cherry
1 orange slice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes combine the whiskey, lemon juice, and sugar. Shake well. Strain into a collins glass almost filled with ice cubes. Add the club soda. Stir well and garnish with the cherry and the orange slice.



WHISKEY COOLER

2 oz blended whiskey
4 oz lemon-lime soda
1 lemon wedge


Pour the whiskey and soda into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with the lemon wedge.



WHISKEY FIX

1 tsp superfine sugar
1 oz lemon juice
2 tsp water
Crushed ice
2 oz blended whiskey
1 maraschino cherry
1 lemon slice


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the sugar, lemon juice, and water. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass almost filled with crushed ice. Add the whiskey. Stir well and garnish with the cherry and the lemon slice.



WHISKEY MILK PUNCH

2 oz blended whiskey
1 oz dark creme de cacao
2 oz milk
¼ tsp grated nutmeg


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whiskey, creme de cacao, and milk. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the nutmeg.



WHISKEY SLING

1 tsp superfine sugar
2 tsp water
1 oz lemon juice
2 oz blended whiskey
1 lemon twist


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the sugar, water, lemon juice, and whiskey. Shake well. Strain into a highball glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.



WHISKEY SOUR

2 oz blended whiskey
1 oz lemon juice
½ tsp superfine sugar
1 orange slice
1 maraschino cherry


In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whiskey, lemon juice, and sugar. Shake well. Strain into a sour glass. Garnish with the orange slice and the cherry.



WILD JACKALOPE

1½ oz Canadian whisky
½ oz peppermint schnapps
1 tsp Pernod
1 lemon twist


In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine the whisky, schnapps, and Pernod. Stir well. Strain into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Garnish with the lemon twist.
